Melbourne University Soccer Club welcomes all new players during preseason (January-March). Please check out our preseason training shedule and you are more than welcome to attend. During the season positions are dependent on squad availability so it is recommended that you email email@example.com indicating if you are looking at playing in our more competitive teams or more social teams.
Yes! In fact a huge proportion of our members have no previous background or affiliation with the university before joining. MUSC welcomes anyone and everyone to become a part of the club.
Generally speaking, during the seasons our more competitive teams train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings (with games on Saturdays) and our more social teams train on Wednesdays (with games on Sundays).

If you are not sure if you want to commit to training throughout the year, we welcome you to still come down in preseason as many people with a similar mindset have grown to enjoy the format for the more social teams.

Yes, all players who play with Melbourne University Soccer Club are covered through both Melbourne University Sport and the Football league governing bodies the player plays in.

Melbourne University Soccer Club as a member run club there are currently limited opportunities for scholarships through the club, however this is something we are endeavoring to work on. For more professional , Melbourne University offer sport scholarships to help support student-athletes, through the Elite Athlete Program.

Melbourne University Soccer Club is currently working on a Player Handbook which will outline the expectations and club culture to all players. It will also outline things including how we are looking to improve and events in 2016.
