Our next entry into the Men’s Team of the Decade is Centre Back Viktor Schreiner
Viktor came to the club in 2011 from Germany and was well recognised as one of the great Centre Backs to have played for the club
Viktor Schreiner was a German defender who came to Australia in 2011 on a year long working visa.
A quality defender who played at CB and was able to command the defense and read the game exceptionally.
What he lacked in pace he made up with his experience and his aerial ability.
A great character and solid performer. With his German preciseness and humour he was a terrific player and person to have around the club.
He played 22 games throughout the season and helped in a solid 3rd place finish with a record of conceding only 20 goals in 22 games. Viktor also chipped in with 2 goals for the season.
