2022 Board of Directors

The club’s Annual General Meeting was held via Zoom on 27 October 2021.

A big thank you to our outgoing board members Angela Christian-Wilkes and Philip Aitken, who stepped down after serving a couple of terms.

The following members were elected to the club’s Board of Directors for the upcoming year:

Cat Hoang, Dan Ginger, Ellie Acevedo, Isabella Mezzetti, Lachlan Boughton, Michael Owen, Nez Ozergen, Sasha Naidoo

Michael was re-elected President at the AGM. At the new Board’s first meeting, a single nomination was received for each of the remaining office bearer positions, seeing Sasha elected to the position of Vice President, Isabella elected as Secretary, and Lachlan elected as Treasurer.

The club constitution was amended at the 2020 AGM to allow for a gender-balanced board and the election of gender-diverse members. It is fantastic to see those changes already make an impact.

The board members have a good mix of skills and experience to take the club forward. Each board member will take on a portfolio to provide strategic direction and oversight for particular areas of the club’s operations. This structure will be announced in due course.
