The Club
MUSC was founded in 1947, has had women’s teams since 1982, and is now one of the largest senior soccer clubs in Victoria. Based at Princes Park in Carlton North, MUSC provides football opportunities to University of Melbourne students and alumni as well as the general public.
Our central location makes us an attractive destination for a large number of talented players. Players do not have to be University of Melbourne students to join the club, but our connection with the University and our close proximity to the UoM’s Parkville campus mean we are largely the club of choice for many quality student players from overseas, interstate, regional Victoria and Melbourne.
MUSC is in a unique position of having two Men’s State League teams; one currently entered in Men’s State League 4 West and the other in Men’s State League 5 North.

The Position
We’re seeking a Senior Coach for our Men’s State League 5 North squad.
We’re looking for a coach who can:
- Identify talent
- Run engaging training sessions
- Improve players as footballers and individuals
- Collaborate with other coaches
We’re looking for a coach who brings passion and positivity to everything they do. They will be an exceptional communicator. They will buy into and enhance our club culture.
Our coaches are well supported by a proactive committee and a team of engaged volunteers who will take on a lot of the team admin, allowing you to focus on coaching.
Remuneration appropriate for the position and experience will be negotiated.
