Notice of 2022 AGM
This notice is to advise of the upcoming Annual General Meeting of the members of University of Melbourne Soccer Club Inc (ACA #A0025954L, ABN #22 951 070 200).
The details of this meeting are as follows:
Date: Monday 7 November 2022
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Social Space B, Melbourne Uni Sport, Tin Alley, The University of Melbourne, VIC 3010
Members will also be able to attend the remotely. A Zoom or Teams meeting link will be distributed to members in the lead up to the AGM.
The business of this meeting will be:
- To confirm the minutes of the 2021 Annual General Meeting.
- To receive from the Directors reports upon the activities of the Association for the preceding financial year.
- To receive and consider the financial statement of the Club for the preceding financial year.
- To elect the Directors.
- To seek nominations for other volunteer committee positions.
- To consider any other business.
There are no special resolutions proposed for consideration at the 2022 AGM.
Proxies
A member entitled to attend and vote at the AGM may appoint a person to attend and vote at the meeting as the member’s proxy. A proxy must be a current member of Melbourne University Soccer Club. A proxy may be appointed by completing the electronic proxy form at least 24 hours before the commencement of the meeting.

If you would like to submit an item of other business to be discussed at the AGM, please email these to [email protected] any time up to within 48 hours of the meeting.
Other business can also be raised without notice during that agenda item at the meeting.

A finalised agenda will be released ahead of the meeting.
The Board intends to table the Annual Report and Annual Financial Statement by the weekend preceding the meeting so members can consider these ahead of the meeting. These documents will not be taken as read.
A Board Member nomination pack will be released ahead of the meeting. Nominees for positions on the Board will be published in the week leading up to the AGM.
A list of committee position descriptions will be released ahead of the meeting.
