First Nations Bursary
The First Nations bursary covers full playing and registration fees for the successful applicant(s). Applications are currently open for the 2025 season.
Players are eligible if they:
- identify as Indigenous Australian or a descendant of people indigenous to the South Pacific, including New Zealand and Australia; and
- are currently studying at a recognised educational institute (successful applicants will need to show evidence of study at a recognised educational institute – Statement of Enrolment or student card).
Recipients are not guaranteed selection into one of MUSC’s competition teams (that is, teams that play a full home and away season). If you are eligible to receive the First Nations Bursary and are not selected into a competition team, your registration fees for your participation in other forms of participation at the club – for example, as a social football member or as a train-on – will be waived.
If you have any questions or would like to apply for a bursary, please email [email protected]
High Performance Scholarship
High Performance Scholarships are awarded on the basis of performance and are designed to cover registration of high performance players who can support the club in achieving its performance-based goals. Scholarship recipients will have their registration fees covered for the season.
Eligible players are those selected for the highest men’s or women’s squad at the club, and are nominated by that team’s senior coach.
